Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar – Spiritual & Historical Exploration

Upon arrival at Amritsar Airport or Railway Station, you will be transferred to your hotel. After check-in and refreshment, proceed to visit the sacred Golden Temple, the holiest shrine of Sikhism. Experience the serene environment and spiritual aura as you walk around the holy Sarovar. Later, visit Jallianwala Bagh, a significant historical site commemorating the martyrs of 1919. In the evening, witness the patriotic Beating Retreat Ceremony at Wagah Border. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Amritsar Heritage & Drive to Dharamshala

After breakfast, visit Partition Museum, which offers powerful insights into the partition of India. Later, explore local markets such as Hall Bazaar for shopping traditional Punjabi items. In the afternoon, drive to Dharamshala, nestled in the foothills of the Dhauladhar range. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

Day 3: Dharamshala & McLeod Ganj Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to explore McLeod Ganj, known for its Tibetan culture and scenic surroundings. Visit the Dalai Lama Temple Complex, an important spiritual center. Later, explore Bhagsu Waterfall and enjoy the peaceful natural setting. You may also visit the local Tibetan markets and cafés. Return to Dharamshala for overnight stay.

Day 4: Excursion to Kangra & Palampur

After breakfast, drive to Kangra and visit the historic Kangra Fort, one of the oldest forts in India offering panoramic valley views. Later, proceed to Palampur, famous for its tea gardens and scenic landscapes. Spend leisure time exploring the lush greenery before returning to Dharamshala for overnight stay.

Day 5: Dharamshala to Amritsar – Leisure Evening

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Amritsar. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. The evening is free to revisit the Golden Temple for night illumination or explore local street food and markets. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 6: Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey with memorable experiences from Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
