Day 1: Arrival in Leh and Rest for Acclimatization

Arrive at Leh airport and transfer to your hotel. Since altitude adjustment is the priority, today is kept slow and comfortable. After check-in, rest properly, drink plenty of fluids, and avoid overexertion. In the evening, you may take a short, relaxed walk in Leh Market to pick up essentials like water, sunscreen, caps, and light snacks. Return early and sleep well for a stronger next day. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing and Gentle Exploration

After breakfast, head out for a balanced local sightseeing day that still respects acclimatization. Visit Shanti Stupa for wide views of Leh, then explore Leh Palace for a quick cultural and historical touch. Continue to the Hall of Fame museum for a deeper understanding of Ladakh’s terrain, stories, and military history. If your energy allows, visit a nearby monastery like Spituk or Sankar. Return to the hotel in the evening and keep the night restful. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

Post breakfast, depart for Nubra Valley, driving through Khardung La Pass, one of the region’s most famous high roads. Enjoy photo stops at viewpoints and take it easy at the pass to avoid altitude discomfort. As you enter Nubra, the scenery shifts into a surprising mix of sand dunes, green villages, and riverbeds. Check in at your stay and later visit Hunder Sand Dunes for a calm evening. Optional activities like a double-humped camel ride can be done depending on availability. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 4: Nubra Valley Sightseeing (Diskit and Village Experience)

After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery, known for its hilltop setting and the large Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Spend time absorbing the peaceful monastery atmosphere and the broad views across Nubra. Later, explore nearby villages such as Sumur or Panamik side (route/time dependent) to experience Ladakh’s quieter life, small farms, and traditional homes. The afternoon is kept unhurried so you can enjoy Nubra’s landscapes without rushing. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 5: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route

After breakfast, check out and drive to Pangong Lake using the Shyok route if open, which is known for its raw, remote beauty. The road journey is long but packed with dramatic terrain and scenic breaks. Arrive at Pangong by late afternoon, check in at your camp/cottage, and spend the evening by the lakeside. Watch the water’s colors shift with the changing sunlight, and enjoy a quiet night in the cold desert environment. Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.

Day 6: Pangong to Hanle (Remote Ladakh Experience)

Wake up early near Pangong for a peaceful morning, then depart towards Hanle, one of Ladakh’s most remote and unique regions. The drive takes you through wide open high-altitude plains and isolated settlements that feel far from the usual tourist route. On arrival, check in and settle in. If time allows, visit Hanle Monastery, set on a hill with a beautiful view of the village and mountains. Hanle is also known for clear skies and calm nights, which makes the evening feel special even without doing anything busy. Overnight stay in Hanle.

Day 7: Hanle to Tso Moriri and Back to Leh (via Chumathang)

After breakfast, head to Tso Moriri Lake, a high-altitude lake surrounded by mountains and wide-open silence. Spend time by the lake, enjoy the stillness, and take slow walks for photos and views. Later, begin your return journey to Leh via Chumathang, a route known for its scenic landscapes and hot spring area. Arrive in Leh by evening, check in, and rest after the long travel day. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 8: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Leh airport. The tour ends with a deeper, more offbeat Ladakh experience that includes remote regions beyond the standard circuit.
