Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing | Forts, Palaces, and Historic Landmarks
After breakfast, start with Amer Fort where you explore grand courtyards, fort gates, and scenic viewpoints that overlook the city. Continue with photo stops near Jal Mahal and then proceed to City Palace for royal museums and architecture. Later, visit Jantar Mantar to see Jaipur’s iconic astronomical instruments, and end the day with a Hawa Mahal viewpoint stop and time in the bazaars for textiles and handicrafts. Day 4: Bikaner Sightseeing | Junagarh Fort and Desert Heritage | Drive to Jaisalmer
Begin your day with breakfast and visit Junagarh Fort, a stunning fort complex with ornate interiors, courtyards, and museums that reflect Bikaner’s royal past. Depending on time, you may visit local heritage spots and then proceed towards Jaisalmer. The drive takes you deeper into the desert landscape. Arrive in Jaisalmer by evening, check in to your hotel, and rest for the night.
Day 5: Jaisalmer Sightseeing | Golden Fort, Havelis, and Sunset Views
After breakfast, explore Jaisalmer Fort, one of the world’s few living forts, where homes, shops, and temples still function inside ancient walls. Walk through narrow lanes and visit key points within the fort area. Continue to Patwon Ki Haveli and other famous havelis known for detailed stone carvings and merchant-era stories. In the evening, visit a sunset viewpoint such as Gadisar Lake or a local dune-facing spot for golden hour views, then return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6: Jaisalmer Desert Experience | Dunes, Camel Ride, and Camp Night
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning, then head towards the Sam Sand Dunes area. As the desert opens up, you’ll experience a completely different side of Rajasthan. Enjoy a camel ride or jeep-based dune experience depending on what’s available and preferred. Day 7: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur | Blue City Arrival and Local Markets
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Jodhpur. On arrival, check in to your hotel and refresh. Later, explore the lively markets near the clock tower area where you can shop for spices, handicrafts, and local items. The evening is kept flexible so you can enjoy Jodhpur’s vibe at your own pace. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 8: Jodhpur Sightseeing | Mehrangarh Fort and Departure
After breakfast, visit Mehrangarh Fort, a massive and beautifully preserved fort with museums, royal galleries, and panoramic views of the blue city below. Continue to Jaswant Thada, a peaceful marble memorial with scenic surroundings. If time permits, you can also visit Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum for a final royal touch. Later, transfer to the airport/railway station for departure, concluding your Rajasthan tour.
