Amarnath Yatra (Baltal Route)

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar | Local Assistance | Overnight Stay

On arrival at Srinagar Airport/Railway pickup point, you’ll be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you’ll have time to rest and adjust to the climate, which is important before starting the yatra movement. In the evening, we will guide you through the essential yatra preparation: verifying your documents (Yatra Permit/ID), briefing you about route conditions, weather changes, and the dos and don’ts for a smoother darshan. If time allows, you can visit a nearby market to purchase last-minute essentials like ponchos, walking sticks, dry snacks, or medicines. Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2: Srinagar to Baltal | Scenic Drive via Sonamarg | Overnight at Baltal Camp/Hotel

After an early breakfast, you will begin your drive towards Baltal, passing through the beautiful Sonamarg valley. The route is scenic but also gradually becomes colder and more mountainous, so we recommend keeping warm layers accessible. Upon reaching Baltal, you’ll check into your camp/hotel depending on the selected stay option. The rest of the day is kept light to help you acclimatize and conserve energy for the yatra. Our team will brief you again about the next day’s early start, pony/palki arrangements (if required), and safety measures like walking pace, hydration, and emergency support points. Dinner and overnight stay at Baltal.

Day 3: Baltal to Amarnath Cave Darshan | Return to Baltal | Overnight Stay

This is the most important day of the package and starts very early, usually before sunrise, to ensure a smooth movement and darshan. After a quick breakfast/packed refreshment, you will proceed for the Amarnath Cave darshan via the Baltal route, which is shorter but steeper and more physically demanding than Pahalgam. You can do the trek on foot or take optional pony/palki services as per availability and personal comfort. Along the route, you’ll find designated checkpoints, medical aid centers, langars, and resting shelters. After completing darshan at the Holy Cave, you will begin your return to Baltal the same day. Once back, you’ll be assisted with refreshments and rest at your camp/hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Baltal.

Day 4: Baltal to Srinagar | Departure Transfer

After breakfast, you will check out and drive back to Srinagar. Depending on your flight/train timing, you may have a short stop en route for refreshments and scenic photo points near Sonamarg. On reaching Srinagar, we will drop you at the airport/railway station for your onward journey. The package ends with your departure transfer and support until drop-off.
