Day 1: Arrival in Leh and Rest for Acclimatization

Arrive at Leh airport and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, the day is kept completely easy, especially for families and first-time high-altitude travelers. Rest well, drink plenty of water, and avoid rushing outside. In the evening, if everyone feels comfortable, take a short walk near the hotel or in the local market for basic shopping like snacks, medicines, or warm accessories. Return early for dinner and a relaxed overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing at a Comfortable Family Pace

After breakfast, start local sightseeing without packing the day too tightly. Visit Shanti Stupa for wide views and fresh air, then proceed to Leh Palace to explore Ladakh’s history in a simple, family-friendly way. Later, visit the Hall of Fame museum, which is engaging and educational for both adults and kids. If time and energy allow, you can visit a nearby monastery like Spituk or Sankar. Return to the hotel for dinner and rest. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

After breakfast, drive towards Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass. The journey is scenic, and we keep multiple stops so the trip feels comfortable for elders and children. You will reach Nubra by afternoon and check in at your camp/hotel. In the evening, visit Hunder Sand Dunes, where the family can enjoy the wide open landscape and take photos. Optional camel ride can be done depending on availability and interest. Return for dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 4: Nubra Sightseeing and Relaxed Exploration

After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery and the large Buddha statue viewpoint which offers some of the best valley views. After that, the day is kept relaxed so families can enjoy Nubra without long travel. You can explore nearby villages and spend time in peaceful surroundings, with breaks whenever needed. This day helps avoid continuous long drives and makes the overall trip easier for all age groups. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 5: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route

After breakfast, check out and depart for Pangong Lake. The route is selected based on road condition and safety, and travel breaks are planned to keep the journey manageable for families. Reach Pangong by late afternoon and check in near the lake. Spend the evening by the lakeside, enjoying the scenery and the changing colors of the water. Return early to your stay because nights are cold. Dinner and overnight stay near Pangong Lake.

Day 6: Pangong to Leh via Chang La and Evening Free

After breakfast, depart for Leh via Chang La Pass. The drive includes scenic stops and short breaks. Reach Leh by evening and check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free, so you can do shopping in Leh Market, relax at a café, or simply rest at the hotel depending on the family’s energy. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7: Sham Valley Excursion and Departure (Same Day Drop)

After an early breakfast, go for a short Sham Valley circuit covering Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the Sangam view point where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. After sightseeing, return to Leh and proceed to the airport for departure. If your flight is early and time does not allow Sham Valley, airport transfer will be done directly as per schedule.
