Day 1: Arrival in Leh and Easy Acclimatization
Arrive at Leh airport and proceed to your hotel in Leh. Since altitude adjustment is key, the day is kept simple and light. After check-in, rest properly, hydrate regularly, and avoid any heavy activity. In the evening, you can take a short walk around Leh Market for essentials like water, caps, sunscreen, and snacks. Return early and sleep well to support acclimatization. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (Shared Taxi Transfer)
After breakfast, depart in a shared taxi towards Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass. The route is scenic with photo stops at viewpoints depending on the group’s pace and road conditions. As you enter Nubra, the landscape changes into a unique mix of sand dunes and greenery. On arrival, check in to your budget stay or camp. In the evening, visit Hunder Sand Dunes for photos and relaxed exploration. Optional camel ride can be done at your own cost. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 3: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route (Shared Taxi Transfer)
After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Pangong Lake via the Shyok route, subject to road and weather conditions. This is a longer travel day, but it offers remote Ladakh scenery and wide landscapes. Reach Pangong by late afternoon and check in to a budget camp/cottage near the lake. Spend the evening by Pangong enjoying the views and changing lake colors. Dinner and overnight stay near Pangong Lake.
Day 4: Pangong to Leh via Chang La (Shared Taxi Transfer)
After breakfast, depart for Leh via Chang La Pass. Enjoy scenic breaks and photo stops. Reach Leh by evening and check in to your hotel. If you have energy, spend time shopping in Leh Market for souvenirs like apricot products, local handicrafts, and woollens. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 5: Departure from Leh
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Leh airport for departure. The tour ends with a compact Ladakh experience that covers the most popular highlights at a budget-friendly price.
