Day 1: Arrival in Leh and Briefing for the Ride

Arrive at Leh airport and transfer to the hotel. Today is primarily for acclimatization, so the schedule is kept light. After check-in, rest properly and hydrate. In the evening, you will attend a short briefing where the ride captain explains route plans, safety guidelines, altitude precautions, and basic do’s and don’ts for high-pass riding. You can also do a gentle walk in Leh Market to purchase riding essentials like gloves, thermals, and neck warmers if needed. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Acclimatization Ride and Leh Local Circuit

After breakfast, begin with an easy acclimatization ride around Leh to get comfortable with the bike, road conditions, and altitude. Visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace, then continue to the Hall of Fame museum. This day is planned with short distances and plenty of breaks so your body adjusts without strain. By evening, return to the hotel and review the next day’s route details. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (First High Pass Ride)

After breakfast, start your ride towards Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass. The climb is thrilling and the views are massive, but the route demands careful riding, steady pace, and proper breaks. Spend limited time at the top due to altitude and cold, then descend into Nubra where the landscape shifts dramatically. Reach Nubra by afternoon and check in. In the evening, visit Hunder Sand Dunes for a calm sunset view and photo stops. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 4: Nubra to Turtuk (Border Village Ride) and Back

After breakfast, ride towards Turtuk, a scenic village near the India–Pakistan border area known for its culture and greenery. The route offers a different side of Ladakh, with calmer roads, villages, and river views. Spend time exploring the village lanes, interacting respectfully with locals, and enjoying the relaxed pace. Later, return to Nubra by evening. This day adds variety to the expedition because it is less about high passes and more about terrain change and culture. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 5: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route

After breakfast, begin your ride to Pangong Lake via the Shyok route, depending on road conditions. This stretch is one of the most adventurous parts of the circuit, with remote landscapes and a true expedition feel. You will ride through long, quiet sections where the valley opens up dramatically. Reach Pangong by late afternoon and check in near the lake. Spend the evening near the lakeside, but avoid staying out too late due to cold temperatures. Dinner and overnight stay near Pangong Lake.

Day 6: Pangong to Leh via Chang La

Wake up early to see Pangong in morning light, then ride back to Leh via Chang La Pass. The route is scenic with a mix of climbs, descents, and viewpoint stops. Reach Leh by evening and return the bikes for a quick inspection if required by the operator. The rest of the evening is free for rest, café time, or shopping in Leh Market. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7: Buffer Day in Leh (Weather and Road Backup)

This day is kept as a buffer for any delays due to weather, roadblocks, or route changes. If everything goes as planned, you can use the day for optional experiences like Sham Valley ride, local café hopping, shopping, monastery visit, or simply rest. This buffer makes the expedition more reliable because Ladakh roads are unpredictable, and having one extra day reduces pressure. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 8: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Leh airport. The expedition ends with a complete Ladakh riding circuit that covers high passes, remote routes, and iconic landscapes.
