Day 1: Arrival in Kochi (Cochin) + Heritage Walk

Arrive at Kochi Airport/Railway Station and meet your driver for a comfortable transfer to your hotel. After check-in and some rest, head out to explore the old-world charm of Fort Kochi. Walk through the colonial lanes lined with art cafés, spice shops, and heritage buildings. Visit the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets at the waterfront, and spend time at Fort Kochi Beach as the evening lights come on. If time allows, explore local highlights like St. Francis Church and the Dutch Palace area (based on entry timings). Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kochi.

Day 2: Kochi to Munnar (Scenic Hill Drive + Tea Country)

After breakfast, check out and begin your drive to Munnar, Kerala’s most loved hill station. The journey is a major highlight—winding roads, misty viewpoints, and waterfalls make it feel like the trip has started early. En route, stop for photos at tea gardens and viewpoints, and enjoy short breaks at spots like Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls (seasonal flow). On arrival, check in to your Munnar hotel and relax in the cool mountain air. In the evening, take a calm stroll near the local market area to pick up fresh spices, tea, and homemade chocolates. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing (Tea Museum + Top Viewpoints)

Post breakfast, set out for a full day of Munnar sightseeing. Begin with the famous tea estate landscapes and visit the Tea Museum (subject to open days) to understand how Kerala tea is processed and why Munnar’s flavor is unique. Continue towards scenic points like Mattupetty Dam for lake views and optional boating, and Echo Point for its natural acoustics. Later, visit Kundala Lake and nearby viewpoint stretches for wide valley panoramas. If the weather is clear, the hills feel endless and the photos come out unreal. Return to the hotel by evening and unwind. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady (Periyar Forest Experience)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady, home to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Once you arrive and check in, the day shifts into a more nature-and-forest vibe. Later, head towards the Periyar Lake area for a chance to take a boat ride (optional) where you may spot deer, wild boar, and birdlife along the banks (wildlife sightings depend on luck and season). In the evening, you can choose a cultural experience like a Kalaripayattu martial arts show or a Kathakali performance (optional, based on show timings). Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 5: Thekkady to Alleppey (Backwater Houseboat Stay)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Alleppey, the heart of Kerala’s backwaters. By around noon, check in to your private houseboat and begin a slow cruise through palm-lined canals, village stretches, and wide lagoons. This is Kerala at its most peaceful—fishermen at work, kids playing near the water, and small homes built around the backwater life. Lunch and later tea/snacks are served onboard as the boat moves at a gentle pace. In the evening, the houseboat anchors in a calm spot for the night, giving you a quiet backwater sunset and a restful stay. Overnight on the houseboat.

Day 6: Alleppey to Kovalam (Beach Relaxation + Sunset)

After breakfast onboard, check out from the houseboat and drive to Kovalam, Kerala’s classic beach destination. Once you check in, the day is designed to be lighter—no rush, just coastal air and downtime. Spend the afternoon at Lighthouse Beach and watch the waves roll in. If you want, you can try a beachside Ayurvedic massage (optional) or simply enjoy a long walk along the shore with local snacks and coconut water. By evening, catch the sunset near the lighthouse viewpoint, then return to your hotel. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 7: Kovalam to Trivandrum Departure

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Trivandrum for your drop at the airport/railway station. If your departure time allows, you may do quick local shopping for Kerala spices, banana chips, or handicrafts. Your Kerala tour concludes with a comfortable transfer and trip closure.
