Day 1: Arrival in Leh and Warm Acclimatization Setup

Arrive at Leh airport and transfer to your hotel in a private vehicle. Winter in Ladakh can be extremely cold, so after check-in, the plan is to rest, hydrate, and stay warm. Your hotel room will be prepared for winter comfort, and you should avoid long walks on the first day. In the evening, if you feel comfortable, take a short walk near the hotel or visit a nearby market area for winter essentials like gloves, thermals, and heat packs. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Snowy Leh Local Sightseeing and Café Time

After breakfast, explore Leh’s key local attractions at a calm pace. Visit Shanti Stupa for wide snow views of Leh, then proceed to Leh Palace for a heritage touch. Continue to the Hall of Fame museum, which is a good indoor stop for winter. Later, spend time in Leh Market for cafés, local shopping, and a warm winter vibe. Return early to your hotel to avoid late evening cold. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (Subject to Road Conditions)

After breakfast, depart for Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, if the pass is open and safe. Winter travel depends on road clearance and weather, so the vehicle and route will be planned carefully. Enjoy scenic stops where safe, and reach Nubra by afternoon. Check in to your winter-friendly stay. In the evening, explore the Hunder area for snow landscapes and calm views. Camel rides may not operate in peak winter; if available, it will be optional at your own cost. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 4: Nubra Sightseeing and Return to Leh

After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery and the Buddha statue viewpoint if roads are clear. Spend time enjoying Nubra’s winter landscape and quiet villages. Later, begin your return to Leh via Khardung La, again subject to safety and road condition. Arrive in Leh by evening and check in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5: Sham Valley Winter Circuit (Magnetic Hill, Sangam, Gurudwara)

After breakfast, head towards Sham Valley for a scenic winter day trip. Visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, then proceed to Magnetic Hill and the Sangam viewpoint where Indus and Zanskar rivers meet. This circuit is usually more manageable in winter compared to far lake routes, and it still gives a complete Ladakh experience with river valleys and snow scenery. Return to Leh by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Leh airport for departure. The trip ends with a winter-focused Ladakh experience planned around safety, comfort, and seasonal accessibility.
